(1 tsp?)** A: I haven't checked. Two cap fulls is fine with a little water. However l have an old mug to empty the excess into in the morning before l let the machine dry out. It is too expensive to throw away. By the way if you look at the i robot website there is one permitted alternative. Might be cheaper £20 for 1 gallon of ready made up cleaner. **Q: Is this safe to use on hardwood oak floors?** A: Apparently it's not safe to use Braavajet regularly on hardwood floors when fitted with the washable microfibre cleaning pad. Presumably the microfibre tends to strip the surface of the wood. It may be safe to use the Braavajet cleaning fluid with the disposalble pad, which seems to be some sort of paper, but we've never tried because we use the Braava jet exclusively for cleaning ceramic tiles.
