It is a very good investment. Highly recommended. **Q: does come with software?** A: It came with software that made it compatible with my MacBook Air running OS X v. 10.8.4 Mountain Lion. The company emailed the software to me, though I think it may now be available on their website if it's not packaged with the device. **Q: is it possible to attach an insufflator to this?** A: In my appreciation it is not possible. **Q: how big is the cable??? i mean length, because it is wired product, am i right??** A: It's a standard 6ft mini usb cable. I haven't found it cumbersome. Not to mention of course its cost. More suitable at a price point of $89.00. This price would match ones experience with it. Web camera's with a proper lens could do a much better job at half the cost.
