If you remove the plug, and once fitted all the legs, just raise the seat with the adjustable handles this then gives you space to reinsert the plugs. I have turned my stool around so the hinges can’t be seen, personal choice. The stool itself appears to be of good quality, sturdy. Simple to fit together you just bolt the four legs on. Suggest you use a proper spanner than the one which comes with it. Slightly disappointing that the depth of storage under the seat is roughly just 3.5cm. Overall very happy with my purchase. It is a little cheap, with a weird really glossy paint on the legs, but it was cheap so you get what you pay for. Height adjustable which is good. Its quite comfy but i did get a bit of a dead leg when playing for about an hour and a half, but that is a fair length session.
