It seems to be very cheaply made, which is ok seeing as how it was not an expensive item. The issue I had with it is that the back light did not work. It doesn't really make sense to me to have an alarm clock that you can't even see the numbers on. Especially an alarm clock that is designed for a person who really needs that extra push to get up in the morning. That and the ball that attaches to the base is black foam and was all dinged up and scratched when it arrived. I say "junk" instead of what I really mean, because a child might come across this review.The first clock we ordered didn't work right. The propeller would launch, but the alarm would not shut off even when the propeller was returned, even when the alarm was switch to "off." I had to take the batteries out to make it shut off.Just in case the non-working clock was an error, we got a replacement.
