**Q: I already own a UV light similar to the one that comes with the kit. Would the refill by itself be sufficient or are there other required components?**
A: Yes it will work.  I do this same way.  I use a penlight UV light bought purposefully for this.  I find it cures the glue faster & in a larger volume in my modeling projects.

**Q: What is the estimated shelf life of the liquid, unopened, in desk drawer, no extreme temperatures?**
A: According to the inventors, there is no limit on shelf life.  Saying that, I would not expose it to extreme temperatures...just in your office, kitchen, craft room, etc.

**Q: will this bond to polycarbonate?**
A: This product bonds to anything I have used. I don't see any reason why it would not bond to a poly carbonate. Keep in mind that you cant use this substance outside. UV light from the sun will harden it as soon as it comes out of the bottle; i found out the hard way. Works great indoors. works fantastic on anything clear like glass or plastic since you can fill a crack and the UV light penetrates thru to harden the liquid. Hardens just as the advertisements say.

**Q: How many grams of liquid in the Starter Kit? And in the refill?**
A: It states its 4 grams. i didn't measure or weigh it.

The product is terrific for filling and sealing, water-tight needs. The bonding process is quick and simple. With the ability to apply precise amounts and layering between sanding sessions is remarkable.Two things that could be improved are the strength of the adhesion when attempting to attach two surfaces together. Lastly the amount of material that can leak out during storage periods is excessive at times and seems like a waste, not to mention messy to clean up. As the material is a syrup consistency until it’s cured using the UV light. Overall I love this product and have ordered refills twice now because of the versatility and quality of the products curing.

This works great IF you used correctly. You have to sand the surface first. It will not bond to smooth surfaces. It's also not a glue in the way that glue is sticky. This is a resin that becomes hard when cured. Does not work in applications where it will need to flex or bend. But does work great in applications such as glasses repair, hard plastic bonding, etc.
