Super light weight, take up less space in cupboard and elegant looking. However, we have had 2 that have broken in the last month. One was broken when taking it straight from fridge through heating up food in microwave. The other broke when heating up food in the microwave with the plate starting at room temperature. Now we minimize how much we use these plates in the microwave. Disappointing. Never had that problem with any other plates I've used over the last 25 years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2020* I've only purchased maybe 3 dozen plates in my life, but these are by far the best.They survive slight hits, but I wouldn't trust them to survive a big drop nor would I want to feel what the shards are like in my foot.The big thing for me is that they do not absorb all the heat when microwaving, which is a big improvement from poopy ceramic / clay plates I've used in the past.
