I used the smaller ones to get a tighter curl and left them in for 24hrs. They ripped hair out when removing which was not cool and that was me being gentle so as not to waste the curl. The curl looked ok to begin with (not great just ok) so I added more hair products to keep it curled but it ddnt stay curly for any longer than an hour. It ended up looking like rats tails with a slight wave so I tied it all up in a ponytail and felt like I wasted money and time. I'll go back to using straws as that woks a lot better than these. I should also add that they didnt come with any instructions but were easy enough to suss out after watching youtube tutorials and are not that comfy to sleep with. These might be best for people with afro hair or natural curly hair but be careful when removing as it rips hair. Rubbish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great if your hair is easy to curl. *by G***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 March 2022* If you have hard to curl hair make sure you use products that help your hair to curl and use on wet hair. My daughter's hair is easy to curl so she tried them for 2 hours during the day on the first go and they work well, wavy on the still wet bits and curls on the dry bits.When she had them in all night (at her own home) with a beanie on to keep them tidy, her hair was very curly. She found that if she had put them in neater and tighter, she would have had a neater cascade of curls.The added bonus was that her autistic son found them very therapeutic to help his mum open them ready to put her hair in. ### ⭐ Impractical *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 February 2021* I must admit, I'm really disappointed with these curlers. First of all, they gradually slip out of my hair, and that's when I'm awake. Goodness knows what would happen if I wore them at night. In addition to that, because they're made out of solid plastic, when they're folded over the air can't get to my hair, so it doesn't dry.
