I used a piece of packing tape across the bottom to hold it together and even that didn't feel sturdy. They included stickers for holding (I think) the top closed, but I tried to separate several of them from the backing and was not able to do so - the sticker pulled part of the backing with it. Today I sat down with a sharp knife and was finally able to separate the clear sticker from the backing, but that's way way too much for for this simple task.
