However we are using it for the first time today, and it was very difficult to get in the sand. It also came out of the sand and started blowing away. We live in Florida and have had a number of umbrellas, but never one that was/is so hard to bore into the sand and STAY! We had other people come over to help! Not happy! We shall see how it goes! ### ⭐⭐ Threaded Base does NOT work *by M***4 on Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2017* The base of this umbrella does not screw into the sand as expected and the handle that unfolds on the pole appears to be installed upside down. We had to dig a hole in the sand using my son's beach toys and then bury the bottom 12+inches so it would stay upright. Unfortunately I missed the window for return and will need to buy a new and different product for next year's beach season which is a disappointment. I really hoped to get better function for the price.
