Review: Great supplement - This wine extract I have been on for years . It definately helps keeps my cholesterol in a good range . I would only take Dr Chi’s it’s one step in the right direction to achieve good health for myself.
Review: Significant drop in Cholesterol?, 2025 update - My self and 3 other people I know are taking the wine extract and all of us, within 2 to 3 months, saw our cholesterol levels drop significantly. Mine went from 220 to 159 over 2 months -- that is the lowest it has been for DECADES! This is the first supplement that I have actually seen empirical results of its effect. It would be nice if they would break down the constituent parts of the ingredients, rather than just saying "wine extract". As of today, i am still taking this supplement. But I will stop taking it. While it seems that my experience has been positive wrt cholesterol, i cant help but think that the reduction was due more to a combination of eating much healthier and excercise than taking this supplement. That being said, multiple significant studies have been completed since 2010 showing that the original study was seriously flawed and that resveratrol does nothing to extend life span.
