In fact the quick release mechanism is straightforward and seems very sturdy.So it was fitted within 10 mins of delivery. It looks fine, appears to be well made and similar in quality to the old strap. I went to a fossil shop and the straps were £25 which I thought was a bit too expensive and so I looked on amazon and found this strap for £13 half the price. On opening the package the quality looks good and came with a little tool for installing/removing leather strap from watch face. The straps are a little stiff but I hope they should soften after a few days of wearing the new leather strap. Easy to install yourself no need to go to a shop.
