The card does tell you to place the card 6 feet from your eyes to use the standard letter-side. The other side indicates a 36 cm distance. The card itself is about 3.5 x 6.5 inches. **Q: Can the chart be used with a trial lens set to determine prescription?** A: Not recommended. Not accurate enough **Q: I don't understand when this might be useful and how it can be used to an advantage vs. having a regular sized eye chart on one's wall?** A: You also do not have to be as far away from it to use it as you would with a large wall chart. This allows for use in places where you do not have room to get farther away. You could also more easily use it for people who are bed-ridden or wheelchair-bound. **Q: Is this rigid, or does it easily fold?** A: It's rigid. My physicians use it to be into a lab coat pocket. However, my residents preferred the Rosenbaum. It's like a plastic card. If you bend it, it would damage it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great size, quality, and value - So handy & saves money! *by on Reviewed in the United States March 24, 2021* I love the price, size, and sturdy durability of this pocket eye chart. We are using it at home and the small size means we can work within the space we have (we don't have to stand as far away as would be needed with a larger chart). We can just prop it up on something (a music stand works well) and stand or sit at the appropriate distance for the chart we are using (6 ft for one side, 36 cm for the other). The charts are printed on a stiff, heavy, high-quality plastic card, so it could even be carried about in a pocket without getting mangled.I am pleased to have such a compact item that I can easily store between uses. It is nice to be able to check the eyes of my growing teens as well as the aging eyes of my husband and myself, so we can detect when a trip to the eye doctor is needed. It's great for keeping up with eye-screening for homeschoolers (which we are), for homebound folks, or times of restricted doctor access (COVID anyone?), or just anyone that doesn't want to shell out $25-$100 just for an eye-check! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by on Reviewed in the United States January 31, 2026* Good guide for getting the big one for the wall ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I wanted *by on Reviewed in the United States June 15, 2025* I am a clinician in the Emergency Department and wanted a pocket Snellen eye chart. This one is excellent quality. It is heavy duty plastic and will not bed. The print is crisp and easy to read. This is a true time saver, so I can check visual acuity right in the patient’s room. ## Frequently Bought Together - Eye Chart, Pocket Eye Charts, Snellen and Rosenbaum Pocket Eye Chart for Eye Exams (2 in 1) - CAVN Pen Light with Pupil Gauge LED Penlight for Nurses Doctors, 2 Pcs Reusable Medical Penlight for Nursing Students (Black/White) - SURGICAL ONLINE Taylor Tomahawk Percussion Reflex Hammer for Neurological Examination (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/162307796-rosenbaum-snellen-pocket-eye-chart-2-in-1](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/162307796-rosenbaum-snellen-pocket-eye-chart-2-in-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
