I am big on exfoliating...do it a few times a week, especially before self tanning. I have all kinds of loofahs, exfoliating gloves, body scrubs, Etc., and nothing comes close to this little gem in effectiveness. Directions are super simple...soak in a bath for at least 15 min without any soaps, gels, bubbles or oils, then use the mitt, starting with the arms and legs, in long, even, (not too rough) strokes on the body, the dead skin literally rolls off, it's so crazy! My skin was super soft too, and I noticed that my self tan took and faded more evenly too, due to the fact that my skin was properly exfoliated. But I can def see myself using this all the time in winter too, to keep my skin soft as well. The mitt comes detailed directions for use, but also with a smaller face version as welol (as a gift) and what a cool gift. I've used it only twice, but I've seen a difference already in my skins smoothness. I have clogged pores on my nose and I'm excited to see what it will do for them long term.What I love is that the company also says you can use the mitt to dry brush your skin as well! How awesome is that?! Anyone 'in the know' knows that dry brushing is so helpful for the body to push out toxins and rejuvenate itself. I exfoliate every few days and afterwards my skin feels like a baby's bottom. The packaging upon delivery was actually very nice and seemed environmentally friendly as similar items would usually be in plastic wrapping or folded card stock. It's a nice touch (no pun intended). Although this is more of a personal preference, the larger mitt has an extended strap which I use to tie and hang on the shower caddy, however, I kind of wish it had a loop like the smaller face mitt to hang on a hook.
