### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Metal T-Handle locks

I seldom do reviews but this one is important. I purchased a used ARE top and had issues getting keys to lock it us. This is specifically for a Nissan Frontier but I suspect it is the same for other makes and models. I originally went to Easykeys.com and ordered a set of keys based on the numbers on my existing locks. The first and second set would not work and I got frustrated and started to research. My top has the metal T-locks and I found you cannot duplicate these keys. Only the plastic T-handle style locks can be duplicated. You have to change the locks instead. I ordered two Bolt locks for my side windoors and it worked like a charm. Install the locks turn the ignition key clockwise as far as it will turn and your done. You will need a small pick to remove the small 5mm e-rings holding the original locks. They will go flying and if your like me I could not find it and had to go to Harbor Freight to get some replacements. I hope this post saves someone some of the headaches I had.

### ⭐ Does NOT work for Leer truck topper

I purchased this in hopes that it would work, considering someone else reviewed them saying “they work for ALL Leer truck toppers”.. well, they don’t.I have the twist lock style and it would not have worked for me. Save yourself the trouble and order a new twist lock mechanism from your local Leer dealer if you have the same idea I had. Hope this helps save somebody the headache I had to go through.
