Opening can be a little cramped with this little knife but the right grip, pinching between thumb and middle finger, and pulling the flipper with the index works pretty well. This knife is mighty despite being so little. Did I mention it's little? This has been added to my daily carry as my secondary knife but gets pulled out for almost all packages and light tasks while my primary has begun languishing in my pocket or nightstand. My micro blade knife fell apart. First the pocket clip rivets broke off. Now the blade will no longer stay in the locked position will flip back and forth freely in my hand and I’m my pocket. How can you sell something on quality when I have a 1” blade swinging open on its own literally right next to my groin? I sent them photos and they sent me a new knife but I don’t trust it. The clip is a different material from the first knife… how is that? How can there be any consistency in quality if the materials keep changing? Don’t buy this knife.
