I was honestly expecting the handwriting portion to be a little laggy, but it was smoother than some pens I've used. There were quite a few page options to choose from as well with the ability to create more. I will say to be patient with navigating though. While the writing is smooth it's still an e-ink product which means it can run a little slow at times. Don't expect it to run as smoothly as an iPad or a computer.
