Was fulfilled by Amazon, so not sure if the seller had anything to do with the packaging. The bottle cap has a permanently open hole, with no way to close it (twisting cap doesn't work). I’ve used it over a week now and have thrown away all my other shampoos. I thought I might have to use a conditioner weekly, but that’s not been necessary. I have to admit that the large bottle without a pump annoyed me at first. However, as someone pointed out, the bottle has a dispenser so that not gobs of shampoo pours out.
