It fits the 12awg bare wire. So you have to strip the wires the entire insertable length of the connector and inevitably bare wire will be exposed on the outside of the connector. With the that being the case you'd assume those 12 gauge wires would fit very tight in there... Nope, the lever closes but with a small amount of pull the wires slip right out. Haven't tried 14awg. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Seem just as "snappy" as Wago Lever-Nuts but how well they snap together is hit or miss. *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2019* They're not an official product by the company that makes the similar product "Lever Nuts" (Wago) but the mechanism seems very comparable; however, sometimes they refuse to snap together properly. While snapping them together into segments of 5 pieces for storage I encountered this problem 3 times. I "fixed" it by changing the order of the pieces such that the issue was not apparent. They kept failing so it took twice as many pieces to connect four wires. Once I found pieces that would hold the wires, they would separate.
