It allows my set up my GoPro on my helmets so I can change between helmets quickly and easily. I don’t have to modify my helmet and have bits stuck to it. I can take it off and clip it to other surfaces and rotate the camera to other angles. With the go pro media mod I can also attach a mic. If it rains I can quickly unclip it and throw it in the top box. The clip is strong and I have no problems with it falling off, even riding tracks. If it was to fall off it has a small strap that I attach to the chin strap so won’t lose anything. It does sometimes slip down a little on one of my helmets because of the materials but generally the rubber grippers work brilliantly. Highly recommended, well thought out. Well done Danjo Design! However depending on how fast you plan on going I recommend having a lanyard on it attached or looped through the helmet straps. Mine came off at about 100mph. **Q: Will this work if I'm wearing my Leatt neck brace?** A: It doesn’t allow the helmet to move freely downwards. The gripper strikes against the neck brace. I don’t recommend to use it with the neck brace. If you use it without the the brace is perfect!! **Q: Has anyone mounted this to a closed face hemet like for autocross? If so, does it get bothersome?** A: Yes i use this mount on my helmet off-road and on . i ride with the mount and my go pro every time i ride. It is not annoying in any way its light and has super strong clamp springs so it never comes loose or jiggles . my helmet is a bell dual sport full face with visor and sheild super hi vis yellow. Needed a second GoPro connector block to be able to tip the camera back as far as needed, but that’s probably down to my specific lid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not the best solution with a flip front helmet *by M***N on 1 September 2024* I bought this knowing that it probably wasn't the best mount for my helmet, with my neotec 2 its not perfect having said that it still does what it meant to. A couple of issues it crushes the chin guard so at speed it lets air in .
