I used to have to wait until I could get to an Asian store out of state.... at least until I found it on Amazon! I've used just about every American haircoloring you can buy, and I prefer Bigen, because it is inexpensive, and does not use peroxide, so it is much gentler on hair and scalp. It is easy to use and quick acting, and lasts longer than US brands I've used. Typically, they have not penetrated my Asian hair as well as Bigen, and I have had to re-color my graying hair too often. Happily, Bigen was less than $5 per box on Amazon, cheaper than any US brand. I expected to pay about $5, as that has been the price in Asian markets out of state, so it was nice to see the multi-pkg bundles offered on Amazon that were under $5 ea.
