He has eight full teeth with all four premolars and two canines coming in. These are awesome at getting the front and back of the tooth without having to rotate the brush in my baby's mouth = quicker. I found that my baby also tolerated these better. The biggest benefit I noticed with this toothbrush was that it completely removed the plaque off my baby's teeth. The other baby toothbrush I had purchased would still leave some gunk on his teeth so I had to keep brushing for awhile (probably why he hated it).
