The Savage has no sling mount for the bi-pod to attach to so I needed this sling stud. It easily attached to the m-lok fore end allowing me to attach the bi-pod. I dabbed a little blue on the screws threads first of course. The rounded stud with the flat sides ensures the fit is tight and solid so the bi-pod has no loose wiggle at all. (Except for the pivot points the bi-pod is designed to have.) The extra set of screws and t-nuts was a godsend. During the install process I loosened one of the t-nuts a little too much. It dropped off down to the floor and skittered off to the 5th dimension. I’ve yet to find it, but thanks to the extras, no worries.
