This is an awesome device. I'm very happy with it. **Q: Will this mppt charger connect to a venus gx via ve.direct port to monitor through the victron vrm portal? or do i need one with a ve.can port?** A: Yes it will work with the ve.direct port that’s what I currently have for this connection. **Q: Can I use a propane generator with this controller to charge 24Vx300ah battery bank (2x 12V in series) ?** A: Controller will feed the battery from your PV. If it sees extra voltage from your generator/converter it will go to float charge. It’s not meant to take any AC directly from a generator if that’s what you meant. **Q: will this accept #4 AWG cable?** A: I don’t think so. Es sind 4 Panels mit je 405Wp angeschlossen, die max. Spannung liegt an manchen Tagen über 145V (und bisher immer unter 150V). Ich beabsichtige bei U > 145V eine zusätzliche Last parallel und bei <145V wieder wegzuschalten. Die Parameter habe ich so wie bei MPPT100/20 und MPPT150/35 eingestellt, ich betreibe Blei- und LiFePO4-Batterien parallel.
