Does this do that as well or no?** A: The square irons are large enough that the normal loaf bread stays inside the edges. We tried some Texas toast which stuck out but every batch delicious! **Q: How do you season the iron to prevent from rusting?** A: I'm not really sure but I would treat it like a cast iron pan. Also to let you know the size of the iron is Very small. You would not be able to fit a piece of bread in it!
