**Q: Does it switch itself off after a period of not being used? What is the standby time?**
A: Yes it does switch off after a short while of not being used not sure of stand by time but should be quite good its quite a heavy solid speaker. I also have the tronsmart s2 headset and they have a decent battery life

**Q: Can this speaker be used with a pc via usb connection?**
A: I don't think it will work with a USB cable because the sound output from the laptop comes from the headphone socket and/or HDMI port, not a usb port. You will be able to connect this speaker with a jack plug cable. Plug the jack cable into the aux on the speaker, then connect the other end of the jack plug cable to your laptop's headphone socket.

**Q: How loud is this and how good is the bass? Do you think this would be loud enough to use for a small classroom?**
A: It is quite loud with strong bass and would definitely be good enough for a small classroom.

**Q: Does anyone know the range of the connection?**
A: The information states 100ft. I have often left the speaker on the window sill of my bedroom upstairs and been outside with my phone and it still works.. I only have a small 2 bed house but I have no issues with the connection wherever I am. It's a great speaker.
