Review: Physics - I had a rubbish physics teacher at school, pity because the subject really interested me. So, many years later I bought this book and it's great. Explains the subject well. I'm learning as lot!
Review: Excellent accounts of Physics through the ages - This is a great book. Although the publishers and format suggest a target audience age starting with an interested teenager, I’m a teacher and I’ve found plenty to like here. It’s not really about hard Physics, more of an account about how Physicists developed our understanding of Physics concepts in a chronological context. Very much a tale of ‘on the shoulders of giants’ I valued the opportunity to learn about these scientists, albeit briefly, as people, as characters rather than simply a name associated to a law or a unit. Little details like that are important to me in trying to make lessons more engaging, so reading it has been time well spent. If you read it cover to cover, you will find a small amount of repetition but this is necessary when creating a book that you can also dip into and the authors\editors have done a great job in respect of this compromise.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprisingly easy to read
*by A***R on 17 November 2021*

As a layman, I found this book easy to read (although so far I have only read about a third). Obviously a little bit of knowledge is helpful but it does not go into any depth (and isn’t meant to).
