The cooler temperature doesn’t affect the structural integrity of the clear plastic material. My dentist said to use cold water for Invisalign trays and retainers. Hope this helps. **Q: Why not just use baking soda & brush? citric acid= gmo + sls and artificial colors etc... not seeing a benefit to this?** A: Baking soda destroys dentures and dental appliances. Your denturist should have told you this. It leaves tiny scratches on your appliances and lets bacteria and mold grow in the scratches. I wear snap-on (implant supported dentures) and they are VERY expensive. These products are proven safe and effective and do not cause harm to the human body - you should be brushing your dentures after smoking them. These products have been imbues for years upon years. The whole GMO thing is already out of hand. You’re going to be just fine - everything you come across in life has GMO’s. You’re NOT eating this product. I had jaw surgery and bone grafts put in my gums. I can’t get implants until everything fully heals, so I have a partial denture. It’s not a temporary one that you can’t eat in. It’s the kind you can eat in. You don’t want food residue or bacteria in your mouth, so it’s important to keep it clean. These little tablets clean my partial. I put the partial in a glass of warm (not hot) water and drop a tablet in. It starts to fizz and turns green. After three minutes I take my partial out and use a tooth brush. My dentist is the one who told me what to buy. The process it’s easy and it definitely makes you feel clean. I always thought dentures were for the elderly, but I now realize it’s pretty common.
