You will need polyurethane resin and fine metal powder. Here we use KastEZ Resin from ArtMolds. The mix ratio is 1/3 of Part A resin, 1/3 of Part B resin, and 1/3 of metal powder. Add about 1/2 of the metal powder to each resin part and mix well. Then combine both resin parts together and mix well again. Then pour or brush into your mold. Pouring out KastEZ Resin. Allow shoe polish to dry then buff with a soft cloth. To prevent the oxidation of the metal, acrylic spray can be used to protect the finish. Spray the polished piece with two coats of semi-gloss acrylic spray. It’s best when used with resins and then buffed out to a metallic shine. That it what will give you the metal look and feel. Mixing with concrete will not likely show off any of its metallic properties and it would only tarnish immediately if it did. **Q: Does this product mix well with CA glue** A: It seems to mix ok with CA glue, I only tested it with CA, my CA was medium thickness and I couldn't get enough of the copper powder to mix into the medium CA to get it to polish up nice.
