Exactly what we needed.Recently, however, our regulator stopped working. So, we contacted TRC to ask about it, and they immediately offered to repair or replace the unit if we'd just ship it to them. That seemed more than fair, so that's exactly what we did. Once they had the unit, they promptly repaired it and returned it to us at no additional cost. Can't say enough good things about the product and the folks behind it. When I first got it, it worked intermittently, My air conditioner compressor kicks out at about 106 volts. That's about when the regulator decides to kick in. So the regulator does a quick on then off. I called tech support about this and possibly adjusting the threshold level and was told there was nothing I could do or could be done. I have looked into buying a Hughes Autoformer which seems to be a better regulator at a lower price. I'll update this review when I get the new regulator.Update 3/27/17This update is later than I planned but, I wanted to fully test the Hughes Autoformer. It's been almost a year and the Hughes does definitely work better. More sensitive to electric load changes.
