Too perfect isnt always great.I didnt expect the guard and pommel to also be Damascus, so that was a pleasant suprise.The handle is incredibly well done, far above expectations for leather.I wanted my first Damascus steel blade to be hand made, and this one obviously is.The length, weight, and balance is spot on in my opinion. Even the sheath is not perfectly symmetrical with the stamping. Again proof of handmade and just what I wanted.The only complaint I would have is the guard has some sharp edges.It arrived well oiled and sharpened and I think it's great.
