My dog has back issues but he loves to lay on the floor bc he's hot. He absolutely loves this. I bought another one for when we travel. It's cushioned and as far as I know the only one on the market that is. Read the instructions tho. It's worth it bc u have to be careful when u go to move it if it's filled. Also get one of those 4 cup measuring cups on here for cheap. She is a bit skiddish and distrustful of the noise the mat made if she stepped on it.
