**Q: Discription says 8 in stuffed animal but some reviews complain on small size; perhaps theyre getting the rattle by mistake? Or are they the same?**
A: The rattle is much smaller. The size is correct as listed

**Q: is it filled with beads?**
A: Yes, it is filled with beads but only in the lower bottom portion of it; the rrest is plush. I wouldn't be concerned with the beads spilling out since it's well made. BUT if it's for a teething baby I would be more vigilant in checking for tears periodically.

**Q: Does this toy have any fire/flame retardants whatsoever? Thx**
A: I don't know for sure, but I bought for my Grandson who is 14th month.

**Q: is it over stuffed?**
A: I think it is just right; firm enough to sit up, but soft and cuddly.  My baby girl loves it!

Purchased as a baby shower gift for my cousin. Several people mentioned in reviews that it was smaller than they expected. I was careful to read the size and got out the ruler too, so I was not surprised by the size. I love stuffed animals and when this fox arrived I seriously considered keeping it and getting something else for my cousin! It's so super soft and cuddly, plus the eyes are embroidered so there's no choking risk for babies. Everyone at the baby shower wanted to feel it and hug and went on and on about how snuggly it was. I can't speak to the longevity, but Gund has been a quality brand in the past and as far as I know, it still is.
