Nori sheet , Certified Organic Nori Sheets, 10 Sheets, 1 oz (28 g). One Organic's roasted seaweed (yaki nori) is 100% natural and USDA Organic certified. Our seaweed is harvested by hand and roasted according to NOP standards. This low calorie Superfood is packed with an abundance of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to boost everyday health. Each package is carefully roasted and ready to eat. One Organic's roasted seaweed is great for wrapping sushi, garnishing soups, and everyday snacking.

Review: First time trying Seaweed - I grew up as a picky eater. Most exotic foods taste absolutely horrible to me. This was rather edible. I made myself a very cute Penguin Bento and cut out eyes for my rice bear molds. The taste of this is alright but if you’re a beginner like me, do remember it’s easy to take too much and instantly trick yourself into hating it. Don’t stuff your mouth with this stuff on the first day! Lol + Make sure you brush your teeth and tongue afterwards. Unless you like smelling like dead fish. Haha Besides that, the only con(s) I find is the scary Cancer warning in the back and the fact you have to be VERY careful not to wet the rest of the supply before zipping up. Otherwise you might have to store it in the fridge to prevent molding bacteria. If it comes to that, they do warn you that the coldness will affect the quality of the sheets. ^^
Review: Decent enough - Bought these to roll my own. Flavor is okay. It certainly works. I learned that you probably want to cut these pieces before loading and rolling. Whole sheets provide a fat roll. use half, maybe 3/4 of the sheet.

**Q: Have this nori been tested for radiation?**
A: Our organic nori has been tested for radiation by an independent 3rd party lab in the US and no traces of radiation was found during their test.

**Q: Is it necessary to buy organic nori?  How is it grown or produced differently from non-organic nori?**
A: Non-organic nori may or may not be grown under the same conditions as organic nori. The issue is that it is CERTIFIED organic. The source of nori may be organic, but if it is not certified there is no way of knowing. The organic certification process guarantees that a system is in place to ensure that the organic guidelines are met. We but organic to support the organic system.

**Q: Like someone else here mentioned possible radiation contamination from the Fukushima plant - how do we know it is not radioactive?**
A: Well, mostly because it is not from anywhere near Fukushima--it's a product of China, for better or worse. But if that worries you, just skip it. You would have to eat an awful lot of nori to get cancer from radioactivity!

**Q: How much iodine is in each sheet?**
A: Nori seaweed varies in iodine amount, typically between 16 to 43 per gram. One sheet is about 2.5 grams. You can do the math with this product.  Hope that helps.
