While on an international trip, apparently security wanted to go through my checked luggage. Looks like they tore it off using a crowbar. Never dawned on me but TSA locks are only useful for travel in the USA. Except when I went to install it. I removed the old lock and went to install this one, when I noticed the mounting hole pattern was wider and reversed from my old lock. Something to keep in mind. I had to drill new holes to mount it and was fortunate enough to have it work out. Other than that glitch, the lock is great.
