I used it for several days in a row, but having to clean it after each use just became a hassle. I went back to using the Ekobrew. I tried this again a few more times and will probably continue to do so since I've already paid for it, but I find it lacks the convenience factor I want - the main reason for having a Keurig. If only the inner filter were available for purchase for about 1/3 the price, I could buy several to use. That would significantly up the convenience factor.It does make a stronger than average K-cup cup of coffee, but it's inconvenient to use for a couple of different reasons. One, you have to remove the entire K-Cup Holder, which, in case you didn't know, voids your warranty if you lose it. If you want to use an actual K-cup or K-cup type reusable filter after using this, you have to put the holder back in. In and out. In and out. It's annoying. Two, this is hard to clean, particularly those grounds at the bottom. You have to dig them out. I found this to be true whether I cleaned immediately after using or days later. The bottom grounds never dried out, so even days later I had to dig them out.In another review someone mentioned that the brewer seems to be working harder with this filter. In general, I found that not to be true as long as you're using coarsely ground coffee. A couple of weeks ago I tried a new brand of coffee. Although it was a store bought pre-gound coffee, the grind was slightly finer than the brands I usually use. I tried twice. Once with the new brand of coffee alone. And once a mix between the new and old coffee. Both times the machine worked and worked with very little water passing through till it auto shut off. New coffee alone, I got about 2 oz of coffee for a 10 oz serving. With the mix, I got about twice that at 4 oz.All in all, I would recommend this if you care most about taste. I would not if convenience is most important. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coffee so good, it's worth the price and complications of use. *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2015* This makes the best coffee! It is a bit more complicated to use than the refillable k-cup insert I was using previously. The inner insert is very narrow, so it is difficult to pour the coffee in without some spillage. There are two level markers in the cup. I like using the lower one, but it is difficult to find and so I overfill the cup more than I would like. Also, the coffee should be brewed in small increments--4, 6, or 8 ounce, with following additions suggested at 4 ounces. The cup is not easy to empty of wet grounds, and it does drip after use, so I have a small bowl to catch the drips. I turn the Calix upside down in the small bowl and tap it sharply to make it easy to loosen. Without the bowl, some grounds would leak out when I tap the filter upside down All that being said, I prefer the coffee it makes to the other refillable k-cup I was using, and it is worth all the inconveniences of use. . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth every cent! *by N***L on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2015* The CaliX Cup does what the maker says it will do. It causes the hot water to pass thru the coffee basket more slowly than normal, which in turn releases more bean oil into the mixture. In addition, since you are supplying the coffee grounds yourself, you get to pick and choose the flavors, as well as save some money in the process. For example, I used to use 8 teaspoons of grounds in my old coffeemaker. But with the CaliX Cup I use just 4-5. So I'm using approximately 45% less coffee to get the same result. And finally, I am not tossing any cold stale coffee down the drain at the end of the day, because with the CaliX I am brewing just one great cup of coffee at a time, straight into my favorite mug!My coffee machine is the Keurig K145 Office Pro model. It does not take the CaliX straight out of the box.
