The fit is slim and fairly flattering (considering that it's a down skirt). There are zippered pockets on each hip, as well as zippers that run along each side seam, should you get too hot and need some venting. While I like the skirt and am going to keep it, I'm not sure if it keeps me that much warmer than I'd be without it, as the wind is still able to whip up under it. (That's why I only gave it 4 stars). The workmanship and quality are very good. I did wear it to a football game in 28 degree weather, over some fleece lined tights, and I was comfy and warm. The inside lining is the same material as the outside, so it's easy to slip on and off and doesn't get all caught up in your clothes, as it would if the lining were fleece, so that is another good thing. I have a curvy figure and usually wear a medium, but wanted to be able to wear this over jeans if necessary, so I ordered a size L and it's perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for winter activities *by R***L on January 23, 2019* I got this skirt for iceskating primarily. My rink is freezing in the winter - I wear the skirt over leggings and it's is fabulous- you can unzip the sides for movement. I am 5'5 and 165 lbs - bought a large and fits perfectly. One side unzips all the way - you could use it as a travel blanket. I also used it camping and wore it over corduroy jeans. LOVE this skirt. Great pockets, great fit, great design. Like having a long coat on when added to a down jacket! ### ⭐⭐ Inconsistent sizing *by S***K on February 26, 2018* I have one of the older skirts (same style) and it is quite a bit puffier and definitely better quality. The new ones also are very inconsistent in terms of sizes. The gold medium was tight across my hips; the green medium is too big.
