A: They’re ripping people off during the pandemic!  I have asked the same question with no answer.  These used to cost maybe a buck and change each. $32/6 = $5.33

I ordered these because I can't seem to find the rice and beans in the stores much anymore. These are delicious, only takes 90 seconds to prepare, and is delicious. I myself add a little shredded cheese, and eat it with Applesauce. Great Combo. I hope this helps you, and you enjoy these.

It's not on par with Zatarains cook-at-home stuff, but it doesn't dirty a pot or take 45 minutes either. It's edible and flavorful for 90 seconds worth of cooking. Chop up a stick of smoked sausage in it and you're good to go.
