How was it?** A: Yes! Not intentionally, but fell asleep during cold winter day and awoke still quite cozy. Far smaller than an electric blanket, but did the trick. **Q: Is this electric or can you walk around with it ?** A: It has electric wire, but enough long for walk around **Q: Can it fit around anyone** A: The heating pad part is 19" long and the heating wires do go pretty close to the edges. The pull-out and stretchy straps attached 1 on either side of the heating pad have hook and loop closure patches and give about another 22" which is a total of 38 working length by the time patches are lapped over to hold the pad in place. There is also another stretchy strap that attaches by hook and loop patch to those straps, as a sort of splice or extension between them which is approximately 17" long and that can give about 5 inches more when stretched all the way out so you have about 60 inches total. That extension strap is adjustable to work if you just need a few more inches, or the maximum capable of approximately 60 inches or 5 feet, at least on the one I have. **Q: The description mentions "gel packs". Does it come with a gel pack that can be used with this pad?** A: No, there are no gel packs that come with it. I definitely recommend this heating pad! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Respectable heating pad that has auto shut off function *by N***P on October 2, 2025* We've purchased this several times now over the past couple of years. Only one of them has broken and had to be replaced. It functions pretty well overall and you can tell a difference between each heat setting. I use the highest setting and it's a decent amount of heat. The best function is the auto shut off. I can't recall exactly how long it is but it will shut off and notify you with blinking red light that you basically left it on. We've never had it not shut off, but try to be diligent to turn it off before leaving. It's also got a strap to help you wrap basically any body part. Decent plug in heating pad that gives a variety of heat options.
