It originally was just the plastic seat and a sub-par backrest that desperately needed replacing. Being that this particular kayak won't be winning any beauty contests any time soon, I didn't really care too much what it looked like. I liked the price of this one and the positive reviews. Upon getting it, I took it out of the box, set it in the kayak, riveted some eyelets to the boat to snap the chairs hooks to, and 'wallah', I have a much more comfortable seat now. I really like that the back rest is a little higher and it is rigid enough to be supportive. All in all very happy with the purchase, even if it does look a little too fancy for my rig. Review: Using as a seat cushion over a plastic seat, it works well. - The seat looks and feels well made. The straps are designed to use the unit as a replacement seat. I, however, am using it over the hinged plastic seat in my Walden Vision. Without any modifications, I found a way to use the straps to anchor it in place. The Vision has a very small opening, a narrow seat, and a very short backrest. This seat is sufficiently flexible to accommodate all those restrictions and provide vastly improved comfort in the 2 to 4 miles I paddle daily. ## Features - Polyester - THICKENED GROOVED SEAT SUPERIOR COMFORT: Thickened foam filled seat brings unparalleled comfort; Grooved seat is more breathable；High back design is in line with ergonomics. All in all very happy with the purchase, even if it does look a little too fancy for my rig. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Using as a seat cushion over a plastic seat, it works well. *by G***T on July 26, 2024* The seat looks and feels well made. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent Seat *by C***Y on December 8, 2025* I am using this in a 12' fishing Kayak. Though it is definitely better than some of similar styled seats due to its thicker bottom cushion, there are some things that knocked it down a star. First, is the straps. The webbing material seems cheap and I hope they hold up to the environment, because if they fail, the seat is no longer usable. The material is also pretty stiff, which makes adjusting it extremely difficult. The other thing is that if your kayak has a curved back (like most), the back storage compartment is unusable. Not to mention, again, the material appears to be cheap and there are no larger pull tabs or even pull cords added to the zippers, so good luck using it while you are in the kayak. That aside, the seat is pretty comfortable once you set it up (be sure to take your time to adjust it). The bottom padding is thick, but not overly cushioned so you don't sink into it. ## Frequently Bought Together - WOOWAVE Kayak Seat Padded Deluxe Paddleboard Seat Adjustable Boat Seat Cushioned Fishing Seat High Back Comfortable Backrest Support with Detachable Back Storage Bag for Universal Sit - Borogo Kayak Pad Eye Kit, 10PCS Nylon Bungee Deck Loops Tie Down Pad Eye with 20 Screws for Boat Kayak Deck Rigging Kit - HEETA Dry Bag Waterproof for Women Men, 5L/10L/20L/30L/40L Roll Top Lightweight Dry Storage Bag Backpack with Phone Case for Travel, Swimming, Boating, Kayaking, Camping & Beach, 11 Transparent Colors --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/153967571-kayak-seat](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/153967571-kayak-seat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
