I also purchased a multi chuck tool, which just makes changing accessories really easy, so I keep it on there all the time. I use it for polymer clay jewellery, so I can’t confirm the strength of the motor as the clay is comparatively soft, but it’s perfect for drilling, sanding and polishing. But most of all, my old one had a cord and this is cordless, which is game changing. The battery charge lasts for ages and it’s so convenient. Definitely worth the extra money. What I needed to use it for was a bit too delicate for the tool, but if I wanted a Dremel I wouldn't hesitate to buy this cordless version because it's so much easier to just pick up and go and do whatever you need to do.
