A: I am not sure if it is toxic, I would suggest Google search the ink protect to find out. Hopefully, it is not toxic.

A: I believe they are for lefties, remember back in the time century they were made straight and this Quill Pen set is very close to those made then, so I believe it would work for a left-handed person.
