I picked this up on the Vita and 360 knowing that the two were going to be different. This is like a stripped down version of the console game. There is no hub world, you just choose which map to play. Each chapter can be finished in under a minute (for a bonus if you just run to the end) but can be revisited to explore each map with other characters to find the collectibles. The graphics are good and the action is just what you'd expect from a Lego game: hit everything and collect the legos. That's where the fun of this game is. There is great replay value as each map has ten objectives that can yield unlockables such as characters, collectibles, and bonuses. The controls are different from the consoles but are easy to catch onto. Its not very deep, but I don't think that's the point of this game. The action/exploration/collection elements are all here. While its not as well rounded as the console versions, it is still a fun pickup and play title. If you're expecting a carbon copy of the console game, you'll be quite disappointed. If that's what you want, buy it for your 360/ps3...or wait for remote play with your PS4. Most of the reviews I see here are poor because its not a copy of the consoles.
