Review: Hobbist machining? these are nice. - I did need to surface grind the flats to get better tolerance. I don't machine for NASA but I like better than avg results. These worked well even out of the container. The clamps work decent. Good casting but, cheap materials so, they flex a bit. Overall I like these so far. Review: Might not be the right thing to have - You get what you pay for. Lots of burr on edges, clamps are “HUGE” and look bigger than the v block itself. The crinkle coating on the claps was applied extra heavy so I had to run it over with a scotch brite pad to get it to fit I nto the block’s raceways. After all that, one of the clamps fingers was too wide insert into the raceway, so I had to hit it on my grinding stone. Now it works great.
