This a simple GPS that is a no brainer. I own other GPSs with more features however I seldom use it and when I do I must review the manual. No so with this Back Track, it is simple to use and it gets you to the points you entered. Once you are moving it points the direction accurately, remember to keep it away from your metal rifle or you will get faulty direction. This edition has 5 waypoints; I like that better than the 3 waypoint edition as I keep the hunting cabin, my deerstand, my ATV, plus 2 others you can use when tracking, or driving deer. You also have elevation, temperature and time. Buy it, you won't be disappointed, just remember it is a basic GPS only. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great but make sure you get what you ordered. *by M***N on December 27, 2012* I would not have paid the extra money just to have the Bear Grylls name on this if it was not upgraded somehow. It states that it marks ten locations when the regular Bushnell only marks five locations. This one also only marks five locations. This is the only reason that I purchased this one. I am a photographer and would have liked to had one that marked more locations. Why wold anybody pay so much more for something that does the exact same thing? $78.95 for the regular red version, $103.36 for the green regular version, and $120.00 for the Bear Grylls version. They all do the exact same thing except the Bear Grylls version was supposed to mark 10 locations and the other two mark five locations. I even called Bushnell and they cannot understand why it is listed on this site and a couple of others this way. It is listed right on the package as only marking 5 locations. I am not happy and do not just want a refund. I want what I paid for. A BackTrack D-Tour that marks more then 5 locations. I saved the page and printed the page for when it gets changed so that nobody can claim that it has never stated that it marked 10 locations. Please find a way to make this right by me. This is nothing but bate and switch in order to get rid of merchandise that is left over in the warehouse before they start to sell the updated versions. It will get you back to your location within about 20 yards. The one that I received does not have the cookies so I am waiting on the replacement to see how that works. Cookies help you follow the exact trail out that you took in. That way you are not left just following an arrow back to your starting point. You never know what might be in between the two points if you have to follow a straight line. You could run into something like a river that you then have to find your own way around. I cannot wait to get my replacement. I will let you know how the actual one works after I get it. ### ⭐ Software is nice when it work which is almost never *by A***R on February 4, 2014* The device itself does what I wanted which was to track my day hikes and add them to a map so I could review my little mini adventure. I don't want to use my phone and the device is great I have no complaints.The software has been CRAP. I cannot get it to show my hikes and the software itself has caused issues with my MacBook Air and also with my Windows laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and the result is always the same: my computer slows down and the software will not link to the gps. I cannot get any feedback from Bushnell and have given up on them. I read reviews and it seems like the software works well for other just not me.
