I purchased a ZVOX AV50 set of headphones to help with my hearing of TV dialog and needed to buy a transmitter to connect my headphones to my TV. The ISelector 5.0 transmitter / receiver is a very good solution. What I like:1) It supports the latest 5.0 Bluetooth standard and APTX latency mitigation. Ths ZVOX headphones support APX and I find the combination of ISelector and ZVOX has zero latency on dialog.2) Pairing is easy with a simple double click of the ISelector pairing button. The ISelector has a visual cue showing a solid blue light when your headphone is paired.3) The ISelector is much smaller than the Amazon picture indicates, which is great4) Build quality is excellent (It is plastic)5) It comes with all the necessary cables for attachment to your TV. Note that the Toslink cable is the thinnest cable I ever saw. It worked fine, but I replaced it with an Amazon Basic Toslink cable which has a much better build quality.6) The range is excellent. This is installed in my basement and I could receive audio all the way to my third floor of the house. This is transmitting through multiple obstructions (walls and floors) and it still worked.7) Installation is easy, simply plug and play. Note that the documentation is pretty basic. It also refers to the product as BTMAGIC vs. ISelector, which was a bit confusing.8) The unit has a built-in battery. it charges via a USB Cable (Included). I plugged this into a USB port on the TV. So when I turn on the TV power the ISelector charges while I am using my headphones. There is a red light on the unit that turns on when it is charging. It does not charge when the TV is off, but this does not appear to be a problem at all. Since it has a built-in battery, I can simply unplug the unit from my basement TV and move it to my family room TV if needed and plug it into the famly room's Toslink cable and easily use the transmitter at its new location. The battery lasts for over 12 hours, so no need for a USB charging cord on my second TV.9) It connects to two headphones at the same time.10) Price was competitive to other products on Amazon (about $40)I did not buy this for connections to a stereo so I did not test or need the receiver.The two negatives that I found are:1) it does not support Dolby Digital Audio, you need to change your TV to PCM sound output.2) As I mentioned in my set up, I have a soundbar with one optical out from the TV. Even though the ISelector has a Bypass mode please be aware that even though you can connect your soundbar through the iSelector you CANNOT listen to your soundbar and Bluetooth headphones at the same time (you could listen via your headphones if you connected the headphones directly to the ISelector with a physical connection). Sadly It is either one or the other. This causes a problem if another person wants to watch TV with you and are not using headphones. The easy solution I found was to purchase a powered Optical "Splitter" (not a switch) that takes the input from my TV than simultaneously transmits the signal to the soundbar and the ISelector. This works great and because it is powred there is no degradation in the optical signal. For those who need a solution similar to mine, I purchase on Amazon the J-Tech 1 in x 3 out digital switch (about $20). Note that there might be Bluetooth Transmitters on Amazon that do support simultaneous BlueTooth and a Soundbar without the need of an optical splitter.I would recommend this unit. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Junk. They might as well have shipped me a rock. *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2020* I absolutely, utterly cannot get this to connect to my devices, in any way whatsoever. Oh, the lights flash, and I press the buttons and I "double-click" the pairing button, but my speakers just sit there doing absolutely NOTHING. I tried to pair it with an IKEA Eneby 20 speaker and a Bose Revolve speaker, and I have tried everything, including letting them just sit there for hours. At this point, "I would get in touch with the shipper/manufacturer/whoever and try to get some help," but I cannot find any such information, anywhere.To be clear, I have completely cleared the Bluetooth information in both of my speakers, and in the device. Many, many, many, many, many times. Over and over and over and over again. I have stood there and pushed buttons, double-clicked their falsely-labeled "connect" button, and absolutely nothing happens. For hours. And hours. And hours. And hours. And hours. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is worthless junk, and I have wasted a colossal amount of time.Bear in mind, "this is not my first rodeo here." I have managed to get other, similarly difficult-to-pair transmitters to work, with enough trying and patience. But this thing is completely hopeless. I have tried every trick in the book, and all this thing does is flash some red and blue lights.It appears that some other folks have gotten this to work, and it doesn't look like they've had to go through Bluetooth Hades in order to make that happen. So, I guess I got a bad one. Will I exchange it for another one? Not on your life. So, it'll be yet another trip to Kohl's, and I'll try my luck once again to see if I can get one of these dang boxes that might actually work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful *by D***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2019* Update: 12/30/2022.....had it paired with my PC from the day I bought it and it worked great. As of yesterday, the PC no longer found it discoverable. It's not the PC cause it discovers other devices. Still works with my IPHONE and works great.....so..... The best $43.99 I've spent this year. Rather than having to buy a new bluetooth receiver, turned a great old Onkyo receiver into a fully functional online receiver. Plugged the RCA jacks that come with it into a spare aux input on the back of the receiver. Sounds as good as any record or CD that I own. Full volume on phone and about a quarter volume on the receiver...no distortion whatsoever.
