This newer model is a lot lighter and slimmer than the one 15 years ago. Although my Masters and post graduate education is not in Math/Algebra, I love Math and take a lot of classes to keep my math skills up. Getting used to this calculator, takes some getting used to. I would suggest videos or laminated guides. But the calculator is great and the difference in price between the TI-83 isn’t a great deal between that and the TI-84. Just opt for the TI-84CE if you can.
