The item ended up moving off the area after rubbing on the inside of the upper shoe when walking, and caused the item to move around, resulting in the velcro fastening (which is very stiff and scratchy, to end up digging in and scratching toes until I took it off. Used 1 out of the whole pack, the rest will be put into the medical cupboard in case I injure fingers - it may be better for fingers that do not rub inside of shoes to cause the item to move.
