It primes by itself but stops working after about 30 seconds. Don't buy this. This is a piece of junk. This manufacturer should not make a product this bad. I mean seriously don't waste people's money in time. Don't waste your time and buy this. You will be 100% dissatisfied in every way possible. Pure junk. Whoever selling this should just take this off the market. . If you're pumping air, it might work pretty good. But if you're pumping any fluid water, anything this will not work.
