**Q: What is the little round spot at the bottom inside of the front cover for? i**
A: I really don't know if it has a function. Its not visible when the cover is closed and it is recessed so it doesn't touch the phone. I think its a holdover from when there was something in the cover that activated the phone when the cover was opened or closed but it doesn't work with the newer phones.

If you're looking for a case that's durable and only somewhat see through... then this is your case! I'm really disappointed that the clear cover is NOT clear (it's hard to see through for S-view. Not only that, you can't use the touch function with this case!!! You would be better off with a real Samsung Note 9 case. THIS IS NOT A GOOD DUPE.
