If one understands electricity and basic ohms law then this meter should be a snap to use...The voltage drop under digital loads and the impedance readings for the hot, neutral and ground with a live circuit is very useful...Along with the voltage drop these impedance readings can help diagnose issues as you work back on a circuit toward the main..The trip tests for standard and GFCI breakers can help determine if breakers are failing or just plain don't trip when they should... I do wish this meter gave a relative load reading on the circuit before doing each amperage load test...I believe the Ideal tester does this, but then again it cost $300...
